Ubuntu 10.04 Beta 1 - Testversion, des für April 2010 geplanten Ubuntu 10.04 steht unter dem Namen »Lucid Lynx Beta 1« zum Download bereit. Ubuntu 10.04 Beta 1 enthält die Desktopumgebungen GNOME 2.29.5, KDE SC 4.4 RC1 und ein neuer Kernel auf Basis von Linux 2.6.32-16.25, enthalten. Ubuntu 10.04 »Lucid Lynx« Beta 1 kann von einer Reihe von Mirror-Servern heruntergeladen werden.

Debian Project at CeBIT 2010

DebianThe Debian Project is happy to announce that it will again be represented at the CeBIT IT fair in Hanover, Germany, this year. At the booth of Univention GmbH in hall 2 stand B36, members of the project will be available for questions and discussions and will give a preview of the new version Debian 6.0 "Squeeze", which is expected to be released this year.
